It’s time again to check five screenshots and guess where they are from! This will not include anything from new/modern Doctor Who.
Bit of a tricky one to put together. Doesn’t help that Firefox has been a bit crashy lately when I make these…
The Answer is the Aztecs, and boy is it difficult to try to pick out hard to guess screenshots with this distinctive of a set!
Incidentally, I finally got around to making a spreadsheet listing all the serials, which Doctor they have, and whether or not I’ve done a Guess the Serial post for them, which ought to make it easier for me to figure out what ones to do next.
I divided number of ‘guess the serial’ posts by number of serials per Doctor to get an idea of how much coverage they had. 1: 17.24%, 4: 21.43%, 2: 23.81%, 3/7: 25%, 5:35%, 6: 36.36%, 8:100%. Note that I only counted multi doctor episodes under the Doctor whose era it was, not all of them…
I got it in three! you’re right that the set is very distinctive, it was the layout that triggered my memory in that image
I’d tried to make sure to take a shot that showed as little of the architecture as possible, but I had a feeling… Taking shots of the Doctor and Cameca was so wholesome.

In two. The first one had me on the wrong track, a little hard to see what it was other than dark. Backdrop on the second tipped me off though. Third confirmed it, but I had the right guess on the second.
In two. I knew I recognised the quilted clothing in the first image but couldn’t think where. Now I’m kicking myself. I love this story!
Yeah, I went with the first image because it was dark and you couldn’t see much of the clothing. So much of this story is recognisable that I was trying my best to not show too much of things that were giveaways. Reshuffled the order of the images a bit before posting, too…
I definitely enjoyed doing the bonuses. Some great shots, and I was doing this with the official Doctor Who Classic version, so I was able to get good quality screenshots.

It is a great serial. Particularly hard to take screenshots of that don’t give it away, too…
