I was so glad I just found this community. It seems like a nice place to hyperfocus on this passion we all have in common.
Let’s see, for some introductions
I’m Freddy, a 35yo fan from Brazil. I’ve been creating Doctor Who content for the past 15 years or so, with a podcast running since 2013 reviewing current show, classic, comics, audio dramas and everything under the Doctor Who umbrella.
In all those years I managed to help and work with a plethora of companies on bringing Doctor Who down here to Brazil, from publishers to TV Stations. Recently I had the opportunity to run the marketing campaign in the streaming service of one of our local TV stations all centered around Doctor Who, since they were bringing the show (9th to 13th eras) to their platform. It was lots of fun!
As per a favorite Doctor I love all versions of them, but I have a soft spot for 7th and the Valeyard.
I’m a sucker for a good Alternative Reality story, so everything that has a different version of the Doctor (like Shalka, Dr. Who, Warner’s 3rd and so on) gets my attention automatically. Guess it goes without saying that I love the expanded universe, right?
Anyway, guess that’s enough for an introduction.

I also noticed today this member because they wrote a review of The Axis of Insanity (among many others) and I made a note to add our new translation feature to them.

Eu amo os quadrinhos! No geral eu leio tudo digital pela facilidade, mas coleciono os encadernados, principalmente os dos quadrinhos da DWM. A gente revisou uma boa parte no podcast já, inclusive.
É a coleção que eu comecei esse último ano, mas com o preço vai demorar um pouquinho pra completar. Pena que os da DWM, em especifico, nunca chegaram aqui no Brasil traduzidos.

Idk if you guys hit Brazilian social media exactly since I found the community by digging English-speaking pages I follow on twitter. But now I want to make it happen! I’ll use Doctor Who Brasil to try getting fellow countrymen here! We have quite a following here in Brazil so it will probably bring some new people

Os compilados dos quadrinhos do 8º eu peguei cada um por coisa de uns 80~100 reais. Foi bem em conta.
E é aquilo, coleção (principalmente de Doctor Who) é paciência e garimpar mesmo haha
