Got to the end of part one and just had to pause and deal with the emotional ramifications of Kelsey Hooper? from a single episode of SJA? Who drank soda and noped out of the alien shenanigans as soon as possible? she joined a time lord goth cult, faked her death, and became president of Pluto?? That (legally distinct/plausibly deniable) Kelsey Hooper?

Yep, this was going through my head for most of the book. Even crazier is that the Kandyman and Anne Bonny are there too. And a TARDIS that is a literal Kraken.
