Do these count? I wouldn’t necessarily call them pets so much as food, though these ones aren’t that bad as far as damaging things or getting out.
(I get that not everyone on here eats meat, and that’s okay. But as we have the land, it’s a lot cheaper to raise our beef than to buy it in the store. And it’s better quality meat than what’s usually sold in the grocery store.)

Toby, the red-eared slider who we had for several years. Had the run of the house and would disappear for sometimes months at time before periodically re-surfacing to be put back in his pen for food and to use the restroom.
