Was including elimination when I said that, as I know some probs wont wanna retread old ground
Ah, in that case, itâs numerous. If you search by the elimination game tag you can see a list of all of them.
Bear in mind, the more complicated it is, the more mods are going to have to fix mistakes, and while that might not be a big issue if youâre not a modâŚ
Maybe letâs not drastically overcomplicate this I think ulitmately the elim game worked because it felt a little competitive. Ranking, while nice and perhaps a little less mean than the elim was getting, lacks that crucial element of
so I think âyou can move any episode up or down one or twoâ is easy and a good way to bring back a way to be cheeky
Yeah, the mods having to monitor it was why I had made the point about the mixed votes and how order can matter and make it harder to maintain accuracy. In most cases it wonât matter though, just if the two in question are next to each other and being moved across each other.
Edit, also if theyâre 2 apart and moving across each other.
I feel like moving two is simple enough if youâre only moving them in one direction, like I was suggesting. Itâs when you also start throwing moving them in either direction that it goes more complicated.
My main idea behind being able to choose to move two a smaller amount was to encourage not just concentrating on one story.
Iâd think if thereâs the choice to move two +/-1 or one +/-2, then there should also be the +1/-1 option.
I think the options should be +2, +1/+1, or +1/+0.
The games arenât the same without an elimination factor
I thought the idea here was a way to incorporate a down option.
I feel like if we try to move two stories at the same time itâs going to be too complicated. Having the option to move one story per round, whether up or down, seems easiest
My idea was just changing the initial order and the +2, +1/+1, or +1/+0. Other people were suggesting mixing moving things down in it.
That sounds fun!
I also really like your idea of flipping the order @SweetAIBelle - seems like a great way to help out the underdogs while the top rated stuff will have plenty of voters anyways.
Also, thanks for participating everyone!
