Good luck finding some! It’s such a Scandinavian thing that I don’t think it’s sold anywhere else. Salty liquorice is also one of those things we always make foreigners try, because most people would spit it out!

And to reply to this: please do if you ever get the chance. It can be something of an acquired taste, and loads of people over here don’t like it either, but I find them great they aren’t very sweet at all. More salty and with a little sting to them (this varies depending on the make of course).

There’s a fairly good chance I’d actually like it. And I am very willing to try things that are an acquired taste, as long as they otherwise fit into my diet. (I remember ordering some sort of plain yogurt soda drink at a mediterranean cafe once…)
