The Eleventh Hour is a great first episode, but I will consistently choose to put on Blink instead, any day. I find it a much more interesting and enjoyable episode, while Eleventh is sort of par for the course. It’s my lowest rated episode still in the running (sure, it’s an 8/10, but when everything left is so good that means something).

This list now is like. Heaven Sent is objectively good. But Eleventh Hour and Day are one million percent my favourites. Honestly I think maybe The Empty Child two parter might be my least favourite here now…

Doesn’t work for me. Everytime I try sneaky downvoting it’s followed by “why did you downvote THE BEST THING ON EARTH” and whatever I just upvoted being downvoted.

The thing about The Eleventh Hour is that as much as I think it’s a really good episode, my favorite stories overall are those that really get to me emotionally. I love Gridlock, even consider it a 10/10, but it would never stand a chance against The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances, Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead, Heaven Sent or World Enough and Time/The Doctor Falls if it was in this race.
I do have exceptions to that rule of course. It’s called The Ribos Operation.

Eleventh is a great Doctor intro, but of the remaining episodes, it’s very clearly the weakest link. I say this looking at my 9/10 score for it.

From conversations like this it becomes painstakingly clear that no showrunner will ever be able to make all fans happy 
Of the remaining stories I would rank them in this order:
The Day of the Doctor
The Eleventh Hour
Heaven Sent
The Empty Child
World Enough and Time
Silence in the Library
The Doctor Dances
