So I know they recorded a bunch of Tom stuff way in advance, so we’ve got years of future 4th Doctor episodes…
But I wonder if we’re lucky enough that Lalla Ward has recorded some for them… I’d love another 4th Doctor and Romana series, and thought there was no chance…
But if Lalla was recording Big Finish stuff in November…

it’s certainly possible, although the stuff with romana and four is complicated by them being exes. so gallifrey, where she and Louise Jameson are actual friends, might be something that she prefers doing. We do also know she was in the UK earlier this month [1] so it seems there’s certainly some options for more Romana

3.1 Propaganda by Georgia Cook
With unrest brewing in Low Town, Rassilon demands the immediate location and destruction of a rogue broadcast mocking his name.With Rasmus, the General and Cresta trapped in the Drylands, and riots bubbling on the streets, Ollistra attempts to steer a course to cement her rule over the War Room.
hell yeah for Cresta being in it, no doubt she’ll have good stuff what with Cook being her inventor - getting us attached so she can get Wyntered? I hope not… Leela lite maybe? Intriguing to return to Low Town, maybe still dealing with some fallout from Transference? Excited to see where Ollistra and Veklin go from here too.
3.2 Resistance by Katharine Armitage
Eris is trying to hold a crumbling Resistance together; Ollistra is trying to tear it apart. Both have audacious plans to ensure the victory of their side and everyone else has to choose where their loyalties truly lie.
Ooh an Eris ep!! Seán promised me a ‘great emotional leelanarvin bit’ on a similar level to ‘Narvin my Narvin’ so I expect that’s what we’ll see here. Narvin heavy, Leela lite? Sad if Leela is going to not be the MC as much. Have a lot of faith in Armitage’s Ollistra, and I expect they will resolve to get Romana back at the end here
3.3 Hope by Fio Trethewey
Leela has a job to do, and she cannot do it alone, and so she enlists the most unlikely of allies for the task. Time is not on her side, and she must succeed, or else all of them are doomed.
Fio Trethewey writing the leelaromana reunion??? ohhhh we are sooooo going to die… unlikely ally - more likely Rasmus based on he’s missing in the next one, but I’d kill for it to be Veklin. This one is going to devastate me. Perhaps Leela and Romana leaving Gallifrey for good? What I’d really love is almost a leelaromana two hander, I have missed them both together so much
3.4 Eye for an Eye by Matt Fitton
Cardinal Ollistra must serve the will of Rassilon and see the Resistance destroyed. But the Resistance is already falling apart.With Leela and Rasmus missing, the General and Veklin are given a mission that neither relish. Loyalties will be tested, and vengeance will be had.
famously I quite hate Homecoming which is Fitton’s only other Gallifrey credit, but he also wrote Side of the Angels so I know he gets Veklin. Seán also promised me good Veklin shit so! Yay! Eris and Narvin fighting again? Narvin choosing between Leela and Romana and the cause? I expect this will be another cliffhanger tio

The name Katherine Armitage caught my attention. While I wasn’t enamoured by “Pandemonium”, it was a fun story with some emotional moments.

ohhh now I believe it exists I can do my wishlist/speculation list:
- VEEGA MENTION! please I miss her
- I’d say leelaromana reunion but that’s true so what I’ll say is, I want to see a Romana who has clearly suffered from her imprisonment. I want her to be Doing Bad
- at least one ‘shut up Veklin’, at least one calling her a dog, canonising the collar I know in my heart Ollistra makes her wear?
- I really think Cresta is doomed, sad as that makes me. I think she’s too sweet to live
- Clemantia return!! I need her back actually
