There used to be an area just outside of Silema where there was a charitable ‘village’ with lots of cats and chickens etc etc but it closed down

When I went to Malta on holiday as a kid there was lots of stray cats, particularly calico cats where I was for some reason. I was very disappointed that I couldn’t take a cat home as a souvenir.
