Rambles
I just love the Cinderella panto so much; it makes me so happy! My favorite songs are “Dreaming of You” that Colin sings and then “Spread a Little Happiness” that he sings with Nicola. I love both and I always dance along because I love how peppy the lyrics are and how they’re sung! I wish I could have gone to at least one of the performances. I don’t care if the place is filled with children and if the show is tailored to them, I will have good seats and dance along and scream when the baddies show up and cheer when the goodies win (and when “Colin” proposes to “Nicola” and she gives him a kiss!). I will also shout my answers when the characters talk to the audience and sing along because I would have known the songs by heart from going to so many shows.
Colin’s intro in the show is so ADORABLE. I cannot with him. He’s so good with children and that’s one of my favorite parts. He’s just come from shopping for Cinderella and pelts the audience with different foods LOL. And then he starts singing. I wish those two aforementioned songs were longer or if they would have released a soundtrack album because I play them on repeat. Since it was never professionally recorded the quality isn’t as crisp as it could be.
I LOVE COLIN AND NICOLA! I’m so glad JNT produced this play even if he never released the show on tape. That was a terrible misstep, but I know theatres aren’t about that…Time to repeat these songs again.
