I was thinking today, wouldn’t it be nice if Fifteen woke up one morning feeling a bit Hartnellish. So, for old times sake, he lands on a planet and goes out and collects some soil samples, takes them to the TARDIS lab, where he dons a lab coat and does some serious looking through a microscope. Oh, I know, dull story, but I do miss the Doctor doing science-y stuff. If you’d asked me when I was a boy to describe the Doctor I would have replied, “He’s a scientist from outer-space.” … Sorry, not sure where I’m going with this. It sounds like a moan but it isn’t meant as such, I’m just musing.
You have my support. I honestly wish Fifteen was more of a Neil DeGrasse Tyson type.
Definitely one of the reasons I appreciated 3. Not to mention 13’s monologue in The Tsuranga Conundrum about the anti-matter drive and her making her sonic from scratch…
