She finally decided to leave me along to resume on State of Decay
Good news @MrColdStream !
Apparently the stupid Danish law making it illegal to fly other nations flags from flagpoles except for a few exceptions does allow me to fly the Finnish flag after all
Or a Skull and Crossbones flag…
Well, you will obviously fly the Finnish flag next to the Dannebrogen and the Swedish flag, because that blue and white is too beautiful to resist
But yes, idiotic law!
Not the Swedish one?
I remember @BillFiler mentioning earlier that the Swedish flag has always been legal, but that the thought that the Finnish flag wasn’t, which was weird.
Just as ColdStream writes.
The other flags allowed are Greenland and the Faroe Islands (that both are connected to the Kingdom of Denmark). Sweden, Finland, Norway, Iceland and Germany.
And Rainbow and Pirate
They should remove Norway from the list!
tardis.wiki is back up, at least partially.
Ah I’m glad they have a mirror that they can switch to when it goes down.
It’s really inconvenient when it goes down lol
First day back at work. Emails, emails, emails.
You should unleash your inner Cyberman, select all the unread emails and exclaim:
“Delete! Delete! DELEEEETE!”
Copilot is failing me. AI domination is a ways off yet.
Me about to be the most wrong I’ve ever been:
I’m going back to work after 3 days off. I know there are about 6 things that broke in those days, and they need reporting. I actually refused to answer my phone to the area manager yesterday. He knew I wouldn’t be around. I expect a call as soon as I start today with a scalding. He’ll just get one back.
This is probably a long shot, but does anyone in either Sweden, Finland, mainland Europe (possibly just the Netherlands, not sure), or Africa familiar with a cable/satellite network called The Children’s Channel that aired in the late 80s-90s? Its base was in the UK, but they transmitted to some other countries.
Never heard of it. I might be a bit too young for it, because it seems to have been a thing in the 90s. The Swedish Wikipedia has some information about the Scandinavian version, which ran mostly reruns of old Swedish children’s programmes in the late 90s. Maybe @Tian is familiar with it?
I dont have any memories of this. It does not seam to have been that successful in scandinavia.
Could you provide the name of this station? The only one that I could find is Barnkanalen/SVT Barn, but that began broadcasting in 2002.
Having niche research topics is the worst lol.
