Honestly, could be good? Just looking up the name, he seems to have actually been an engineer/hardware guy that worked up to become management, rather then a sales/management type initially. I like seeing actual tech people running tech companies.

A conversation with a friend today led to us discovering the Doctor Who Roleplaying Game, which I never knew existed. Apparently they still try and keep it somewhat up-to-date, judging by the fact that there’s a 60th Anniversary edition update. Doubt I’ll ever end up playing with my friends, but I’ve been looking at a couple of the sourcebooks just now, and it seems interesting enough. I’m also a bit surprised at how much there seems to be - I’d expect something like this to just be a gimmick, but there seems to be sourcebooks for all of the Doctors up to Thirteen, as well as Expanded Universe editions for quite a few, and possibly ones specifically for companions, antagonists and Silurians[1].
A few of the stories seem original to the sourcebooks and are up on the Guide. So I might see how good they are, at the very least.
Just looking at what’s listed on their website for those last few. No idea why the Silurians merit a sourcebook on their own, but why not, I guess ↩︎
