It occurred to me that in “Death in Heaven”, the Doctor calls himself an idiot, when earlier in the episode, he’s implicitly called that by Kate.[1] I wonder if that was on his mind as he came to his epiphany. Would be cute.

Dunno where we’re talking about the new TV Movie 4K release, but I am so excited about it. This kind of thing really pleases me, rescanning all original negatives and presumably doing all the VFX from the ground up as well, the screenshots from the opening credits look astounding. This probably is the single best-looking episode of the entire series and it rocks that it’s getting a deluxe steelbook!

I needed to choose a Doctor to look at their tag. That’s why I had handles roll a d16. Though because I was including War, the 13 he rolled actually corresponds to the Twelfth Doctor.
Except, that’s Lobus Caecilius, Capaldi’s character in The Fires of Pompeii, not the Twelfth Doctor. /lh
