Filter Option: Sort by largest difference between average rating and your rating

I’d find this a really interesting sort option. Where it checks the average story rating, and your rating, and then sorts the list by the ones where you have the most difference with the average.

Say you hated Heaven Sent. Gave it a 0.5/5.0. With the average rating of 4.78, it’d be a “-4.28” difference, putting it at the top of your “Unpopular Opinions” list.

Or you flip the sort to largest positive difference, and you gave Orphan 55 a 5.0/5.0, compared to its average of 1.86, that’d give it a “+3.14” difference, putting it as your top “Guilty Pleasure”.

I think it’d be really interesting to see where I’m away from the average the most.

I think most controversial rating was something that @shauny thought about adding to the stats page at some point. But I don’t know what happened to that.

Yes this is definitely something that is on my list (although it wouldn’t be a ‘sort’ option, because I can only ‘sort’ by things that are fixed about a story, not relative to your ratings), it would be a section maybe in your stats called “controversial ratings”.

It will definitely be very interesting! It’s on the list :blush: but can’t guarantee how soon it will come.
