I went for Dalek and Demons of the Punjab, both are great episodes. Though, Extremis is a close runner up.
My top two are easy choices, Dalek (controversial, I know), and The Caretaker, which has always been a comfort story for me.
Dalek and Demons are my choices. Rogue would also be up there, but I was only allowed to pick two.
Voted for Dalek (well duh itâs Shearman) and Demons of the Punjab (best 13 Episode in my Eyes, a brilliant Historical and utterly gorgeous!)
As for the other Episodes: I really enjoy Extremis! I think the Doctorâs Daughter is brilliant and just really underrated. And the Woman who lived is great, I will die on this Hill!
Now with the Story & the Engine, I think it has a good Chance to become a favorite of the 6th Episode Slot for me, but I donât want to be too quick on that tho.
Shearman is my favorite writer i need him to do more tv
As the song goes, I canât decide.
Normally I like to do groups of three, but for this one I chose âDalekâ and âDemons of the Punjab.â My third choice wouldâve been âExtremis,â and if I had a second group of three, it wouldâve been (in no particular order) âThe Doctorâs Daughter,â âRogue,â and âThe Bells of Saint John.â
Demons of the Punjab is such a moving story, itâs recently become one of my favourite TV episodes since I last rewatched it, probably the best or second-best New Who historical.
Extremis is just brilliant, such an ingenious premise. And it properly starts off the vault arc, and has the Doctor navigating being disabled, and the hilarity of the pope interrupting Billâs date. What an episode.
Demons of the Punjab and Rogue. Both of them are fantastic. Woman Who Lived and Extremis are contenders for third place.
