Can I vote for Donna and Wilf 100 times please?:heart:

Sorry. One vote per option.

Oh and I’m offended that River Song isn’t on here lol.

Even if you don’t count her first appearance as a “companion”, they have done audio dramas together, eg my favourite:

Fair point, at least for big finish she sort of qualifies as a companion

I’d say “poor Mickey”, with as low as he’s getting on the poll, but I don’t like the actor who plays him, and the Mickey we got initially rather sucked. He got a bit better later, when he was traveling with the Doctor, but Ricky Smith was undoubtedly the superior version of the character, and he’ll be missed (by Jake, at the very least).

Didn’t see River in the list I was going off of. Plus, I consider her an Eleventh Doctor companion more than anything else.

Love Donna. I love her as I love her theme tune. I listen to it whenever I’m writing a humourous scene for my fanfics, no matter the fandom

So, Donna and Wilf are the clear winners, Martha came in third, and an audio companion beat Rose. I would’ve thought Rose would’ve gotten more votes. I’m also not surprised that the more obscure EU companions didn’t get votes.

Martha is so underrated it’s a crime.

A shame she doesn’t get more EU rep.

As for Donna, what can I say?

Up there in the ULTIMATE COMPANIONS category.

Martha could have been an interesting companion, and could do with an EU renaissance, but in the show most of her use was in pining after the Doctor. When she came back in Series 4 she was great as the pining was gone.

I like that people love her, but for me, she is the biggest reason that I don’t love series 3, only like it.

She really got the short straw coming straight after Rose.

It’s such a shame she couldn’t do Torchwood: Children of Earth (she was originally meant to, and was replaced by Cush Jumbo as Lois Habiba, although I do think she did an excellent job and the role was slightly different because she was new to it all).

Coming after Rose isn’t that much of an issue for me, it’s the pining. Having her flirt and be rebuffed after a couple of episodes would have been fine, but even in Utopia having her role her eyes and be pissed that Rose is mentioned makes me shout at the TV.

Sorry. Martha rant over.

I kinda meant that because she came straight after Rose, The Doctor just keeps going on about Rose, which didn’t help.

Also if the Doctor wasn’t so distracted and heartbroken he could have paid Martha more attention.

I put the blame on him for the way she was behaving really, not her as much. She didn’t really behave any differently to Rose, except for Rose it was reciprocated.

I must recommend the first of the Titan Comics 13th and 10th Doctors crossovers.
I love 13 and Martha in that
