Been a while, hasn’t it? I’ve FINALLY finished the latest instalment in the Second Doctor Adventures, The Haunted Windmill. Rest assured, this has given me plenty of ideas for things to draw. Plenty of things I haven’t drawn…yet.
BUT
to keep you all occupied in the meantime, I thought I’d post some art I haven’t posted here :D
I participated in Art Fight 2026 this year, the OC art gifting game. Among my many many OC’s, I also thought it’d be fun to put my interpretation/design for Raven into the mix. Thus, I created these reference sheets for her. Sporting both her original Time Lord robes and her casual outfit.
For a further bit of fun, I also made sure to write several fun facts and pieces of trivia for each of my OC’s. Y’know, for flavour text and character quirks. Here’s what I wrote for Raven:
Fun Factoids!!
- Raven wears her Time Lord robes from “The Final Beginning” to “Kippers”. She then dons her casual outfit from "Catastrophe Theory” onwards.*
- When angry or flustered, Raven’s bang parts revealing both eyes. Unless she’s in her casual outfit, in which both eyes are already visible.
- Raven canonically likes cheese.
- Unsurprisingly, Raven’s romantic preferences haven’t been revealed (clearly Big Finish need to get on that). However, if Raven isn’t the most bisexually coded Time Lady, I don’t know who is.**
*Having said that, she does apparently wear a 1960’s secretary outfit in The Crystal Ship, so we’ll add that to the pile of things to draw.
**Having finished The Haunted Windmill though, I think we’ve all learnt who Raven might have her eye on ;)
