Everything Changes - A Torchwood Thread

Finished Zone 11 the other day,
That was fun showcase for Tosh. The thing this monthly range excels at as giving some depth to the characters that aren’t Jack as well it was his show.

Just started Slow Decay, which is off to a better start then the last two at least!

Slow Decay was quite good from my memory

I rewatched Miracle Day over the past two days. It’s even better than I remember, it’s so good and so much fun.

Just listened to Moving Target, it didn’t really hold my attention much. A bit too by-the-numbers.

Broken next!!

I quite liked Moving Target, but I think more because it’s a very rare glimpse at Suzie’s character

Finished Broken. So, so good!

@Speechless how come your review says 10/10 but the rating you gave it is 2.5? Seems like a mistake there?

Personally I think it’s a little overrated, but that’s moreso because I think there’s a much more recent audio that does something similar but, in my opinion, a lot better

It’s still definitely really solid though, and deserving of love

I really like how it is weaved into episodes of the TV show and shows Ianto’s state of mind, as well as explaining how he gets more involved, and how he gets involved with Jack!

Just wait till you get to Coffee then!

It’s Broken but better

Well, and doesn’t have Jack, but still. It also covers a longer time scale too which is fun

Very good question, not sure how that happened

Finished More Than This, this morning. That was great. Always interesting to see the world of Doctor Who/Torchwood etc from the point of view of the ordinary people especially some who it turns out has basically become collateral damage (and from a story usually derided because it’s the sex gas monster one). Really liked Richard Nichols as Roger Pugh and this was heading towards a 3/5 but that final part where he is talking to his wife’s grave about why he deliberately jumped into the rift was hugely moving so it gets bumped to 3.5/5. Eve Myles was wonderful - funny, angry, resigned to her responsibilities in the world. Yeah, good stuff that.

That part makes me absolutely weep, it’s so moving.

Cyberwoman was intresting concept.
I don’t see why it’s so low rated on here - it’s not perfect but i think it’s enjoyable
Small Worlds was pretty good although i didn’t understand the papery organ things coming out the bodies though. But solid concept. really enjoyed these episodes.

Those are meant to be petals to keep in with the fae theming

I think they mention it a couple of times

What are the Ace + Colchester stories like? Considering getting a few in anticipation of their Xmas outing.

I’ve quite enjoyed them all

Death in Venice was probably the weakest imo, but I loved the other two

Now the 13th Doctor’s era is available for BF to plunder I wonder if the romantic setup between Ace and Graham from POTD will be explored at all…

Ace deserves better. Or, how we say it here: muita areia pro caminhãozinho dele.

Way too much sand for his little truck. He’s out of her league.

Now I’m gonna run for the hills

I’m 100% with you on that

More Graham and Ace would be fun to see, but I couldn’t care less about the romance

Now, Graham, Ace, and Colchester on an audio together, that I’d like to see
