I heard that this image shows a sort of ape-man version of the Doctor from the future, called ‘Ernock’, in a story in a 60s annual. (This might have been mentioned in a Broke Canon video.) But, instead, I found out that the character comes from a story called ‘Justice of the Glacians’, in The Dr Who Annual 1967, and doesn’t seem to be linked to the Doctor…
Does anyone know whether this is a misunderstanding or a mix-up? Did ‘Ernock’ or a caveman/ape-man version of the Doctor appear in a different annual story, or elsewhere?
