We have gone from always disagreeing to always agreeing over the past year. I like it
Well, weâll always disagree about The End of Time
And Flux
I donât agree with this. She grows over the season, and her story in 73 Yards is great.
Iâm not sure what growth that is. I canât honestly see anything different about Ruby from beginning of season to end, other than she now knows who her birth mother is. I agree that she is great in 73 Yards, but that didnât seem to have any lasting effect on the character, not even remembering anything significant about that experience aside from a vague familiarity with the name Roger ap Gwilliam. For the vast majority of her time, sheâs just âyes, Doctorâ and goes along with whatver he does or says until she decides to leave to stay with her family. The only other thing I can think of about her is that sheâs musically inclined and plays in a band with friends we never saw again beyond her first episode.
Belinda, on the other hand and to get back on track, is much more promising so far, even if a lot of the character beats are things weâve seen before.
We now have a full transcript of the episode (I take Chakoteyaâs transcripts, with permission, and edit them in ways which I think improve them), as well as 7 quotes from this episode
Loved it. Solid 8/10 for me. Maybe even 9/10. I liked Space babies last year , but this epiosde was even better than that one for me. love this era.
Yeah, there have definitely been times when Chakoteyaâs transcripts could use improvement, or less footnotes, at leastâŠ
Still really useful, though.
The notes that provide extra detail are nice to have. The occasional jokes and comments about the story are more hit or miss. Sometimes funny, other times not as much.
Also I fix loads of typos
I donât see that many, and I use them for reference all the time.
I fixed a few in this one alone, and also when the site was new and I didnât have much to do (happier timesâŠ) I would watch an episode and read the transcript at the same time, and note there were lots of slight wording mistakes.
But anyway Iâm not complaining, itâs an excellent resource, I just hate things being wrong.
While it is flawed, I didnât hate this episode. 8/10 for me.
Just seen the director of this ep is back for Lucky Day this season! Really enjoyed the direction in this ep. He also did A Good Man Goes to War!
A few days late in replying but your comment made me giggle lol.
I can envision Jack doing that 100%
idk if any of you care about this but Robot Revolution got 2.05M viewers overnight,so far the lowest overnight ratings ever.
Does that include streaming views?
We talked about this a while back.
People donât watch TV live anymore. It was one of the most-watched programmes of the day. The numbers donât mean a lot.
Wait a week for the iPlayer numbers but also remember Disney donât give out numbers.
But fourth for the day.
