Worst RTD finale, totally anticlimactic and ruined completely at the end. Billie Piper as 16 is a terrible choice imo.

Omega could’ve been anything else!! When I saw that giant claw, I genuinely thought a creature from the underverse had escaped in place of omega or something…and then it was him :flushed_face:

Regarding the Rani, what if the Panjabi Rani dying this way resets the regeneration, meaning Mrs Flood Rani can and will eventually re-regenerate? (into Archie Panjabi or someone else)

Episode so bad I didn’t talk about the episode in the review.

For my real thoughts (copy pasted from what I’ve sent to a few pals):

Summary
  • Belinda is no longer a character and is defined by sudden motherhood, what a piss take
  • ■■■■■■■ waste of Omega
  • ■■■■■■■ waste of both Ranis
  • Millie Gibson is going places she’s ■■■■■■■ amazing
  • No Susan is an insult
  • ANITA MY BELOVED :heart_eyes::heart_eyes::heart_eyes:
  • Surprise regeneration stinks - and I don’t like how it happened or why it happened
  • I don’t care about Poppy I’m sorry
  • Surprise regeneration into Billie REALLY stinks, just a gimmick
  • 15’s finale was mostly him not getting much agency and kinda being a dick to Ruby for no reason
  • “In a way we’re all your children”
  • Anita Dobson was wasted but her going “■■■■ this shit im out” was funny
  • Gallifrey should have come back
  • Omega was done so bad I rolled not just my eyes but my whole head
  • 13 cameo was fun and nice but why was she there
  • Ncuti doesn’t get to fight the Daleks.
  • the regeneration effect was the worst regeneration has ever looked for some reason???
  • Mel and the Rani was cool but Mel did ■■■■ aw
  • Nobody did ■■■■ aw
