I’m… so upset. This episode was so middlingly nothing.
Ncuti being gone after only what, 18 episodes? Susan still completely left unexplained. I’m honestly just so disappointed.
As stupid as I think it is that he regenerates into Billie, I am kinda down for it. I love Billie very much. But honestly, I don’t want RTD around anymore. He just doesn’t have it anymore, and I want some fresh blood in the show. I’m very worried about what comes next.

Big Finish is going to have a field day when they get the rights to RTD2 like you’ve literally given Anita the chance to meet every single doctor and companion pairing. Literally my first thought when watching this scene was big finish’s going to love it

I laughed out loud at “You’ve redecorated. Don’t like it,” but for as bland as the current TARDIS is, it’s so much better than hers.

IMO, Rogue is never coming back - that cameo last week was so out of place, it only makes sense to me as an “oh no, Ncuti is leaving, we need to wrap up this plotline however we can” moment. Honestly, I’m kind of glad, because as I’ve said in other threads, I feel like he’s a bit of a Captain Jack knock-off (no offence to Rogue-enjoyers).
weirdly though, now that Fifteen is done Rogue is probably my favourite episode of his

I really cannot bring to words just how much that episode confused, angered and annoyed me. Where was Susan? Why the huge focus on Poppy? The Space Babies connection? Omega CGI shite? Rani gone in the first 30 mins? Exposition dump x 1000? I love Billie, go watch I Hate Suzie it was SO good, but I really think this is desperation from RTD.

I’m not sure how much I liked or disliked this episode. I was rather enjoying it until the Rani left the Tower. I liked having Anita back and even though I’m nowhere near that era in the classics, I enjoyed the interaction between the Rani and Mel.
The rest felt more and more like bantha poodoo to me.
I hated the retcon of Belinda being Poppy’s mother. I loved Belinda but wanted to know her more and what we got in the end was a complete rewrite of who she is and her motivations.
I loved seeing 13.
I love Billy Piper but hate the idea that she could be the Doctor… but I was surprised to not see the “introducing BP as the Doctor” and givenwhat she and RTD said, she might not be.
The Moment also used her face. But I agree this feels like a panic choice.

Oh yeah, they also cast Archie Panjabi in a the role of the Rani, which is genuinely incredible casting, and then she got bloody ate. Why waste her like that?
I’m happy Anita Dobson didn’t get overshadowed and that she gets to continue, but come on!
