Episode Discussion: Lucky Day

Well said. Also I find it strange to level accusations of unconscious racism at a show in which, for the first time in over 60 years we have a POC as the Doctor with a POC companion. & of course in the upcoming episode, as far as I can tell, there are no white people in it.

There are many, many things I don’t like about this era & find fault with but I cannot see any truth to certain allegations about bigoted biases. From whom are these biases coming I would ask. But I guess I don’t want to dig too deep into that here.

Kate’s PIN to access the Shreek’s containment is 9102. Is there any significance to that, or is my brain just fried from my years as a Swiftie?

Is 9102 relevant to Taylor Swift?

I don’t know the relevance but what I do know is that a 4 digit PIN is very lax security. They should use 6 digits at least!!

And two factor authentication.

A small wait for a phone notification, her phone’s sensor doesn’t recognise her fingerprint immediately, the code expires, they have to start again.

Yeah and don’t most top secret agencies in TV and movies use fingerprint or retina scan, or a DNA test.

I guess UNIT are still a bit underfunded

February 1991 had the release of DWM 171, which has a Zygon on the cover, they’re hinting at Osgood’s return! /j

But no yeah in all seriousness, I think it’s just a random number (though happy to be proven wrong)
