I’d prefer a CD too, but will settle for what I can get.

But there’s no way I’d make enough money from reselling the CD to justify the higher cost at the outset, and I rarely do reselling anyway. The only times I’ve ever done that are when multiple people got me the same gifts (books/DVDs) when I only need one of them.

I already get something tangible. The experience of listening to it through my tangible headphones on my tangible iPod. (That’s also why all that extra faff with the app update after the site update was so irritating: I was stuck waiting for an update to a part of their system I never use anyway before I could use unaffected parts I do use.)
