I don’t know, I thought a Faction Paradox emoji would be a cool idea and then wondered why no Bernice Summerfield related emojis. Or Gallifrey would be an obvious one. Then I thought of a Narvin emoji. Then a Dugga Doo emoji. [1] [2]

Think of the people salivating for Insert Emoji Here. And you know it would be fun to talk about it [3]

Well, simple thing with emojis is that someone has to make them.

The reason why there is a K9 emoji is that I took a picture of K9 to use as reference, and started drawing an emoji based on it, then gave shauny the picture when I was done and asked for it to be a K9 emoji.

Similarly, I took the existing TARDIS emoji, recolored it pink, and gave shauny that.

I wouldn’t even know where to start on drawing Bernice Summerfield or Narvin or Gallifrey or Faction Paradox, and I probably wouldn’t end up with a good looking Dugga Doo. I’m not a great artist, just can occasionally do decent looking pictures…

Ah, nice to know, thank you. (I also do image making on occasion using hit softwares as GIMP, Adobe and Paint.)

So one of the image edits on the site is more likely to be an emoji than an idea without a reference image / drawn emoji?

Yes, if you’ve got a picture that can be used as an emoji and give it to shauny, it’s more likely to be used as an emoji then an idea without one, though it also would depend what shauny thought of it, how it looked shrunken down, if there are any potential rights issues, that sort of thing. Note that I made several flairs that weren’t used.

For me, Clip Studio Paint, GIMP, Affinity Designer, and Inkscape are some of the more likely programs for me to use…)
