As I’ve been reading through the EDAs I’ve been referencing a few lists/guides to help me figure out which ones are going to be good/bad/important before I start them, and now that I’m over halfway through the series myself I decided to make my own.
I figured this could be helpful for people wanting to get into the series, but who are overwhelmed by how many books there are. It is currently incomplete (since I am only on Vanishing Point), but the spreadsheet contains whether or not I think a story is necessary to read, worth reading, what companions there are, and what arc it is a part of, as well as some of my notes/opinions on the books.
Here’s my spreadsheet, it will continue to get updated as I read the books (though that may take a while, I’m not the fastest reader, it has taken me three years to get to this point in the series).
Also if anyone else has lists, feel free to add them, I know opinions on these books can vary a lot.
