Apparently the NFT card game is being re-released on mobile without NFTs. Wonder if this will be worth playing.

Doesn’t seem to be available yet but there’s an article in the new DWM.

I registered for an alert when it’s available and I’ve now had the same welcome email ten times in the last half an hour!
What does “without NFTs” mean in this context? I’m skeptical…
Allegedly you can play it for free and only have to pay if you want to.
We’ll see.
It’s a mobile game. I’m betting 10 million Andromedan credits on it not being worth anything!
Well this is good because NFTs are awful, and all the beautiful artwork in this game was being wasted.
But it’s also pretty bad for the people who bought the NFTs before (but then, they knew the risks surely…), also I have zero faith that this game will be any better than any other greedy mobile game.
But I can’t tell because even though I had an account before, it won’t let me in, even after resetting my password.
What is it with Doctor Who franchise stuff and terrible websites and reverting from original plans?
The ‘only have to pay if you want to’ in a mobile game is something I’m a bit sceptical of. Free-to-play doesn’t always mean it’s not pay-to-win.
Downloaded the Desktop version, I’ll take a little look.
UPDATE: It has potential, might not play it a lot though.
Speaking a non-Apple Arcade release of Hidden Mysteries into existence…
I’ve got that game. You’re not missing much.
After playing a bit, it just feels like a Doctor Who version of Marvel Snap.
I got really into Marvel Snap for a while but haven’t played it for months.
