From the clips I’ve seen and from what I’ve heard from others the Unleashed team didn’t even know Billie would be coming back, so looks like we’ll be waiting a bit longer for news.

The turnaround was so quick I wasn’t expecting much in way of news or explanation BUT I did think they might have hastily pasted on a new talking head with Billie or RTD so it wasn’t outside the realms of possibility.
But as I was basically expecting recent and not so recent faces from the past saying what a nice time they had and not much more I’m not hugely disappointed there’s no further clarification on Billie’s return/the show’s future.
Although it does seem like an ample opportunity, if they still don’t know the show’s immediate future they can’t very well say anything. +28 figures for almost the entire latter half of the season won’t be in yet, let alone those for the finale.

I’ve watched it and it’s a lovely retrospective of the nu Who years.
There is no new news about Billie’s role, just a little piece at the end where they played footage of Billie’s interview with them, where she might have hinted at a return.

Okay just finished. Capaldi’s era barely got a look in, about 5 minutes at most for his era. Generally speaking most of it was focused on RTD1/RTD2. Few interesting tidbits and a nice watch overall!

I enjoyed half of that. Sort of lost its way, I felt, after the Smith era look-back, but hey. Nice bit of retrospective.

Yeah, I was very disappointed to not get a bit more on Capaldi’s era, TBH. At least we got to see Pearl again, which was lovely! It just would have been great to see a few more old faces and get a bit more time dedicated to Twelve’s run…
Also, shouldn’t the “fans’ favourite episode” segment really have focused on Heaven Sent?

Most non-Brits don’t know this, but the Beeb also exists to conduct psychological warfare on other nations by getting them hooked on particular series and then withdrawing access to them - withholding the latest Unleashed is another calculated maneuver designed to demoralise Finland…
