I kinda vibe with the kits just because they can do lots of niche things they wouldn’t get to do in other packs and they’re the cheapest DLC available.

Yeah but I’m still surprised we have to pay for seasons I mean , I understand the pack doesn’t only have seasons but shouldn’t that be in the base game?

I can’t speak to the original game, but seasons have never been a part of the Sims base games from Sims 2-4. It’s always been something you needed to purchase.

Yep. Expansion and Stuff Packs have always been an integral part of the game. In Sims 2 you had to buy an entirely separate pack just to have a downtown neighborhood (with nightclubs and whatnot), for instance, or have pets. None of that has ever been free.

Even the Sims itself is fairly recently a free game. I paid for Sims 4, and I was annoyed when they made it free that they didn’t give the people that paid for it some kind of benefit. Even a new object or something

If they had a sale for TS4 EPs that brought them to at least 75% off, I might consider buying one. Since release I’ve only played the base game and it’s pretty boring (as expected). I mostly just use it for photoshoots or to act certain things out.
There’s a few Sims clones (other games) that have been made since EA first announced TS5. I haven’t tried any of them, but I’ve been told they aren’t bad.
And expensive!

Not including sale prices,
To get all the packs it costs over £1000 now
Which is insanely greedy imo.

I’m trying to screenshot what I’ve made but opening snipping tool just minimizes my game Anyone know how to fix this? Can’t find an answer online.
