They’re doing it again, with tickets on sale from today!
This year, showings are around 6pmish instead of midnight! So with parity for airing on TV.

I’m spending £160 (between train and hotel, not even counting the cinema…) to go to Leeds to see it with a bestie I see rarely so I’m hoping it’s either really good or so crap we can tell stories from it after Either way, as long as it’s memorable and a good time with my mate it’ll hopefully be worth the cost
I hope you have a great time! I’m jealous that it’s shown in movie theaters for y’all in the UK.
I’m so gutted, it’s literally the day we are getting a train to France.
It’ll be the first cinema screening that I miss
I hope you enjoy it!
Despite living in the UK until 2023 I’ve technically* never seen it in cinema
*I use technically because I’ve been to two premiere events which were in theatres but not cinemas.
I missed Day of the Doctor in cinema (something I’m so sad about to this day), but saw Deep Breath and EoD in it and I’m not missing this for the world!
I’d like to go!
EoD in cinemas was insane
I went to see Empire of Death in cinemas last season but I probably won’t see this one’s finale due to a diminishing amount of excitement towards the show.
Would also save me a trip to the ODEON, an awful cinema chain that seems to entirely house themselves in buildings that feel like abandoned warehouses.
I wish I could see it in cinemas but I’ll be at my dad’s and they shutdown the cinema at Xscape, near where he lives (reopening later this year with Vue- which I’m glad about cuz Vue tends to be cheaper than Cineworld)
Otherwise I’d offer to take him too.
I must admit I am a bit jealous (I say this while absolutely not being big on Finales or RTD Finales in general, still I am sure seeing Who on screen has its very own Appeal to it).
Hope everybody who goes there has a splendid Time!!
Was trying to book tickets to see it in the cinema, but seems my local cinema’s website/app is playing up.
Guess it’s BBC One for me then.
The benefit of watching it at home is that you can watch it in just your underwear, apparently that’s not allowed in Cineworld and now I am banned.
Aw beans, I’m gonna have to pack clothes for Leeds!?
I’m going to a Vue to watch it in VIP seats!!! Can’t wait
Getting to see Doctor Who on the big screen and celebrate the event with other fans sounds like it would be an awesome experience. Really wish they’d do the same over here.
On a side note:
Genuinely curious, what’s the difference between a cinema and a theater? I’m an American and had assumed until now that “cinema” was just the British word for “theater”. I tried googling it but the answers weren’t very helpful.
Uh well good question ! I’d say a theater is a lot smaller, for events and indie premieres and stuff like that.
Oh, interesting. Thank you!
I’m going to see it in the CINEMA!!!
This will be the first time I’ve ever done this. I’m SOOOO excited!!!
I thought you went to Day of the Doctor?
Nope, not me. The kids would have been too young back then.
