Looks epic but another mystery box companion? Maybe this quest to get her home is the main plot, driving the season a bit like Flux. Which I think would be better.
I did wonder that the spider might be Anansi, if they are still leaning into gods & folklore. I know Ncuti was interested in exploring African folklore. But Anansi is West African not Rwandan.
Had a very random thought that it might be Mr Ring-a-Ding’s true form like Pennywise in It. Would tie into the trickster nature of Anansi.

The trailer has made me so excited that series 15 might have no, or very few, episodes set on contemporary earth!!! (since Belinda seems to want to leave the TARDIS but can’t). If we must have a 21st century human companion, at least we have one who wants to leave! Very Barbara/Ian-coded, I’m looking forward to it.

I’m glad we don’t have Daleks and Cybermen yet.
I think that makes me more hopeful for Season Three because no way will he regenerate before they bring back any classic monsters.

RTD wants to break Tom Baker’s record and waits 8 years before giving Gatwa a Dalek story in his regeneration story
