The pink logo is just fine :+1:

Okay, question, now that we’ve had the new release time confirmed what do you prefer?

  • Season 1 Release Time (Midnight UK)
  • Season 2 Release Time (8am UK)
  • 60th/Christmas 24/25 Release Time (5/6pm UK)

I just bought some Alpen cereal, I guess I’ll be eating that when the episodes drop

Be interesting to hear from RTD about the shift to 8am, since he spent a good 2 or 3 pages last year in DWM defending the midnight release. Wonder if it’s due to Disney, or the BBC, that they’ve altered it?

I think the Disney version looks nicer than the pink -

Oh yes, to me that’s much better :slightly_smiling_face:

Can’t wait for April 12th! 8am is a weird choice but I got used to DW with breakfast last year and suppose I can do it again…

tbh I actually prefer the pink over the blue

Seen someone on twitter say they’ll miss watching live after having done so since 2005 as they work on Saturdays… Yeah idk this just feels strange. It was right to change it, midnight was awful (1am for me), I don’t see why the 60th/Christmas eps schedules weren’t good overall.

I actually really like the morning release time, I watched most of the latest season at that time too except for the finale that I stayed up for. It fits perfectly before the DnD session with my friends we often have on Saturdays. But I’m not fussed either way, with streaming I can watch it whenever and I can block spoilers/stay off social media for a few hours until I watch it either way

I hope we get the finale in cinemas again at least. I don’t like EoD but it was a fun experience seeing it on the big screen

This is how I feel as well. This is how most shows drop right now.

Oh that’s so cool!!

Same here, seems like it will benefit Australia this Time around, a big of a weird Decision but okay (aren’t most D+ Shows released that way? At least I think so-) Then again I am not too fuzzed about it honestly, it’s a fine time compared to the Midnight Release. But a bit odd changing it again

That would be awesome, I really would hope so!

Don’t jinx it :pensive:

Anyway very excited for April, hoping this Series will be good!!

UK shows tend not too though and I love event television, like the traitors, big soap anniversaries etc. It doesn’t feel the same watching Who anymore for me, and now another schedule change this is too much for my audhd self :sob:

That would be cool! (I probably couldn’t go to the cinemas since that would be a UK exclusive Thing but hey at least it can be on Letterboxd then, more Things to mark as watched  (don’t we all love to mark Things as watched/listened/read? :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: )).

I really need to see an episode in cinema properly one day. I technically have, but they were premiere events so not really a cinema screening as such.

If Ncuti is regenerating in the finale, maybe they’ll do what they occasionally do for special episodes of shows/soaps and hold off the finale drop until BBC One transmission. If not, and if the rumour is true, it’ll be strange watching a ā€˜live’ regeneration at around 9am.

I really want a non-christmas regeneration, and you’re so right it’d be so weird early in the morning. It’s like… would i rather S1 watch it exhausted at 1am or watch it 9am grumpy and barely awake… :sob:

Yeah, I really don’t like the pink version. Looks like a quick fan made version,

Oh yeah, that new time does indeed suck.

I think I’ll be taking naps for a few hours at bedtime and setting an alarm for quarter to 3 on Saturday mornings.
