Doctor Who on Spotify

I’ve just recently upgraded to Spotify Premium and found out there are A Lot of Doctor Who audiobooks available on Spotify. So naturally, I’m making a spreadsheet of them.

Sharing the link here for others to have a look (very much a WIP atm though) and also possibly help me build said spreadsheet since I cannot overemphasise How Many audiobooks there are. Thanks in advance to anyone who decides to chip in, I appreciate it :slight_smile:

I’ve also added links to Spotify on every story page that is available there - the first 50 Main Range stories, plus some extras. Although I don’t currently have a page on the site that lists them all, this is planned :smiling_face:

If and when you do get around to it, you have full permission to copy and paste or just straight up reformat my spreadsheet to make it easier to upload to the site. I will try and format it similar to the current TARDIS Guide master spreadsheet to make that easier for you and lmk what specifically you’d prefer formatting wise if you want. At this point i’m just trying to get the bare bones of what’s available so further info and formatting will come later.

I’m not sure if you’re interested in including the various spin-offs that are included in the free Big Finish stuff. But, so far, I’ve found:

  • Bernice Summerfield box sets 1-5
  • Cyberman series 1-2
  • Dalek Empire series 1-2
  • Graceless series 1-4
  • I, Davros full series
  • Iris Wildthyme series 2-5
  • Jago & Litefoot series 1-5
  • UNIT the original mini series
  • Vienna series 1-3 and The Memory Box

I think that’s everything!

Okay so apparently they’re not included in Premium and you have to pay extra for them unfortunately (at least in Australia, not sure if it’d be different in other countries)

Oh, that’s unfortunate. There’s definitely playlists for all of those series in the UK Spotify. It seems strange that Big Finish would only make them available in some countries but not others. Perhaps there’s some behind-the scenes reason why they can’t.

Okay, should all be in there now. There were a few that I could only find amongst collections, as opposed to an individual soundtrack/audiobook, so linked those instead. There were also some of the double ups I couldn’t find at all on spotify so left those blank e.g. could find and link the version of Fury from the Deep narrated by Frazer Hines [2004], but not the one narrated by Tom Baker [1993].
