Ok so in my dream I was on vacation in Germany (Munich I think?) and apparently they had weirdly specific restaurants catering to exactly no one. I mean who wants burgers made of bear meat with donuts instead of buns that they require you to eat while in a swimming pool? Not me, thats for sure.
Anyway the doctor who connection was that apparently me and all of my family (also there) were either clones or alternate universe versions of Romana (it wasnt very clear. i think clones?). And uh, one of them was like, a Goddess. Of turning people to stone.
It’s the showrunner and not a character, but I dreamt that I thought I saw RTD in the audience of a show I was in (the show was never specified in the dream), convinced myself that it wasn’t him, but it ended up actually being him. I didn’t talk to him in the dream since I didn’t know if I could resist the urge to criticize the sexism in The Reality War if I started talking to him.
I recently dreamt that I got a lot (and I mean A LOT) of Big Finish CDs. I especially remember the complete audio collection of Confessions of Dorian Gray for some reason. I also think I had the Vampire Weekend! Honestly, I think I dreamt that because I was looking at other people’s CDs in New Deliveries thread lol
I’ve had a couple of recurring dreams. First, my bookstore got DWM uhhh sporadically, and a month or two behind. No pattern that I could recognise. But when I decided the next day I’d go to the store to check if a new issue was in, I’d dream that night about going to the store and looking for DWM. And it was 100% accurate on if it’d be there the next day or not. It’s my mostly-useless psychic power.
The other one is Weeping Angels. Multiple nightmares. The worst was a lucid dream, a friend led me to a staircase that had angels, then LEFT. So I had to try and not blink in the dream, while in real life try to get my heart rate up enough to wake me up as soon as possible.
And now I have an actual phobia of Weeping Angels. I was 17 when I first saw Blink. I should not be actually scared of any DW creature. But a friend got me a Weeping Angel nightlight as a joke, and I had to shove it in a closet cuz I can’t be in the same room as it.
Not technically about doctor who itself but I was dreaming I was going to timelash with my friends from here this night. Some other weird stuff also happened but it mainly reminded me just how much I am looking forward to timelash
Had a dream where the Doctor, Ian and Barbara had to camp overnight on a planet with dangerous creatures. But Ian was a werewolf so he turned into like, a black lab, to curl up by the tent entrance and keep them safe
(tbh Ian being a werewolf actually makes a lot of sense. Everyone acts like he’s soooo crazy strong, and not the most normal guy to ever guy. Being a werewolf, yeah he would be super strong!)
I dreamt last night that I found one of the rare Patrick Troughton annuals for something like £50 quid at a summer fete and I was walking around holding it working up the will to convince my wife to let me buy it….
I dreamt that I found some “lost media” which was an audiobook featuring the Eleventh Doctor and Martha Jones, and it was being sold in another country. I had to go there to buy it, so I got on a plane and visited, where they met me in a white room and placed it on the table.
I opened it (it was a big A4 case) and they were mini discs! But there were obviously some missing as there were empty gaps.
I paid the money because I thought oh well I’ve travelled all this way, and then bought a minidisc player especially to listen to it, I pressed play… and then I woke up
Never seen one in my life! Never even heard of it in a conversation, really. The only reason I know what they are is because of an episode of Detective Conan anime
There was a lot going on in this dream (like Ian and Barbara making mini pancakes) but the part that really stuck with me was when Ian found out his iPod got stolen
