With Doctor Who at the Proms airing right now on BBC2, wondering if anyone else it watching it? (I’ve just started watching it late with family)

And god 15’s theme is really good, you sort of don’t notice it as much in the show, but just listening to it on its own, wow

I’m watching a few minutes behind, but I really like The Doctor, Donna, and The Toymaker. I’m also desperately hoping that at some point during the broadcast we’ll get an announcement for a soundtrack release for S36 and S40.

I keep hearing Into the Vortex as Phantom of the Opera. Is that just me or does anyone else hear that?

This has been quite the experience! There I am wrapping presents and ‘I am the Doctor’ starts playing. I clap my hands as its possibly my favourite piece of modern incidental music from the show.

And then suddenly I’m crying!

Seriously. The monsters started walking among the crowd and the clips were playing and I’m wiping away tears!

Watching/listening to this prom reminds me that, however much a single story may not always excite me or however much I might moan about something, I absolutely adore this show and the joy it brings everyone.

I Am The Doctor gave me chills and threw me back in time a decade, such a good theme

Loved this like I did the other proms. There’s Always A Twist At The End was a fantastic sequence in particular.
