Division Log 2ZZ6-7

Division Log 2ZZ6-7

The following is the transcription of an interview taken very shortly after incident 10X25, hereafter referred to as ‘The War Games’. This document has been memetically encoded, translating the information within to a suitable language for the reader, and redacting any potentially sensitive information.

Date: Gallifreyan Year 309906

Interviewee: Magnus/‘The War Chief’

Interviewer: ██████████

Notes: At this point, the minutia of events that had transpired as part of incident 10X25 had not been properly explained to The Division by our representative on The High Council. We are currently looking into having them replaced for this unforgivable oversight.

[BEGIN LOG]

██████████: Please state your name for the record.

Magnus: My name is Magnus.

At this point ██████████ stood up from ███ chair, strolling around the room behind it.

██████████: Well Magnus, this is a big list of charges you’re looking at. Unlawful use of time travel technology, providing said technology to a non-time sensitive race, kidnapping of course, 4th-degree murder. All of that on top of your initial theft of a time travel device. They’ve branded you a renegade.

Magnus: And yet I’m still here. By all rights I should be dead, The War Lord-

██████████: Didn’t do any damage The Sisterhood couldn’t fix.

Magnus: I see. Then my question stands, why-

██████████: I ask the questions, you answer them… The SIDRATs, this was all the technology you provided your allies I take it?

Magnus: …correct.

██████████: And these SIDRATs were based on modified TARDIS technology?

Magnus: Also correct.

██████████: How exactly are they different?

Magnus: I don’t see why-

██████████: Just answer the question.

Magnus: The interior is more freely malleable, and they can be controlled and monitored externally. They were…more prone to error than a properly functioning TARDIS, though it’s easy enough to course correct, and their lifespan was considerably shorter. All this made them much easier to produce however.

██████████: Chameleon Circuit?

Magnus: Not feasible with the current design, and not a secret I was planning on giving away.

██████████: Sentience?

Magnus: …no.

██████████: You said ‘were’, they were all destroyed then, I take it.

Magnus: Yes.

██████████: But you have the blueprints?

Magnus: I remember the blueprints.

██████████: Perfect. You’ll be assigned a team to work on creating more of these SIDRATs, improving on their design, how many people will you need?

Magnus: What?

██████████: You heard me, how many people?

Magnus: …it depends on how familiar they are with the workings of a TARDIS, prior to his betrayal, I thought I only needed the one.

██████████: Who’s betrayal?

Magnus: You don’t know? They didn’t tell you about The Doctor’s involvement in the games?

A clattering sound of wood against metal can be heard on the recording, as well as heavy footsteps and yelps from magnus, before a heavy thud as ██████████ pushes him against a wall, the recording from the point is quieter as the subjects have moved away from the recording device

██████████ (shouting): Say that again.

Magnus (laughing): Oh, I see now…

██████████: What exactly happened?

Magnus: Something tells me they don’t want you to know…

██████████: Contact.

Magnus: Contact.

[END LOG]

Following this interview, both ██████████ and Magnus were taken for processing. The interview was retaken at a later date by ███, the same information was provided, however without any chance of the incident that occurred here. Magnus has now been assigned a team of engineers and is now producing a second generation of improved SIDRATs for Division use.
