Digital-only collectables

As Big Finish are doing more and more digital-only releases, I’ve decided to add “Digital-only collectables” to the site for their boxsets.

I’ve also started doing eBooks for anthologies.

This helps to collect the stories together and also so people can find the stories by their boxset name. For example, before today searching for “Echoes Through Eternity” would find nothing, because that is the name of a digital collectable. I’ve now added it to the site, so searching is improved and you can see what stories belong to this boxset:

I have a question about this though… what about releases that are a single story, such as War Stories, or eBook versions of single books? I don’t think they are required to be on the site, because they aren’t actually adding any value - you can already say you ‘own’ the story, and it would only show as a duplicate entry with no real value to it.

I’m interested to hear your thoughts!

First of all: great update! As someone whose collection is predominantly digital, and will continue to be so, this is of great value to me!

As for your question: I agree. I see no point in having a separate collectable for single stories when you can already mark it as owned on the story page!
