“Something is draining our power!”
Yes, the god child you’ve let into the TARDIS who told the universe to crash the ship.

Is there really any difference in the outcomes here??
Why is this a choice?
Well, he’s the Doctor.
He loves to wave that magic wand about everywhere he goes. So he uses it to open the doors.
It’s silly, but this is MY story, you know!
Well, if you’re going to get frustrated with meaningless choices…hmm…Decide Your Destiny might be disappointing for you. I won’t say it happens in all of them, and I won’t say it happens all the time in any of them, but you’ll certainly run into more cases where the choices seem pretty pointless.
Not sure how many will reach an “open the door or open the door” level of silliness, but there will be more “um, flip a coin, I guess” decisions.
Oh no yeah that’s fine, but
is just very silly
It has to be the crank handle - it’s clearly a reference to Death to the Daleks and we can’t let a gratuitous continuity reference pass without comment!
Your last choice: The Doctor opened the TARDIS door With a crank handle
The Doctor and companions find themselves in a dark spaceship on a planet’s surface, using hand-powered torches to avoid attracting attention.
Where on the ship have you landed?
It’s more of a “write your own adventure” I suppose.
I’m pumped for this. Definitely logging it on TARDIS.guide once we’re done.
The choice doesn’t make sense when ‘I’ am just a stowaway. I flipped a coin.
Hold sounds far more Doctor Who-ey.
Also, I am 90% nobody told Colin Brake how a choose your own adventure worked.
This is the first CYOA I have read.
Usually the decisions are decisions a person in that situation would make, not what the universe decides to throw at them or what another person in the group does!
Yeah, it feels like the character that I play doesn’t have that much to do yet
Uuh, another arbitrary decision!
The hold feels more interesting, so I picked that. But it could have been any of the two!
I chose the transporter room, just to be different.
Yeah this isn’t how CYOA’s are meant to work, but hey, it’s something
I am not invested in the story but I think the shared experience is fun!
I mean, basically nothing has happened so far
Right, nothing happened. And then we got cranky.
