Hello hello TARDIS Guide! I’m here to announce a start of an event that I always wanted to host! Celebrating next month release of Genesis of the Cybermen I am planning to host Cybermen stories TV and audio on the TARDIS Guide Discord channel!
The plan is simple I will be hosting EVERY single day of March a Cyberman story and I’m going to announce a few days before the actual day! Now only one thing to do and it’s to decide WHEN should I host? I’m going to give 4 or 5 different times and the most voted one will win! Hopefully everyone will enjoy this event as much as I do!
For now the first day of March is on THIS Saturday and we will be watching The Tenth Planet! So be sure to be there if you want to watch it!
It is decided then! We will be doing the first couple of days on Discord at 5PM GMT! If people want we can redo the poll for next next week! But for now I am happy to host CyberMarch in the #events voice channel!
Day 01
Let’s kick this off with the first ever Cyberman story called The Tenth Planet! I will probably show the animation for Part 4! This story features the First Doctor, Ben and Polly!
Day 02
And for Sunday I want to host another very well known classic Cybermen story; The Tomb of the Cybermen! The story features the Second Doctor, Jamie and Victoria!
Good morning everyone! It’s the First of March so we are going to have some fun fun at 5PM GMT with our first story The Tenth Planet! I hope everyone will enjoy this as much as we will and hope you all have fun!
Day 03 & 04
Giving away the next story title that we are going to watch or well listen to! And that is The Quintessence! The plan is to do 3 parts each day because it’s a bit longer story than the usual 4 parters!
I will be giving out details about the next day on Monday!

Buck up everyone! The next story we are going to listen to together is The Quintessence Part 01-03 and experimenting a little with the time so we will begin at 7PM GMT today instead!
Day 05
Since Genesis of the Cybermen is coming out this Wednesday I will invite on board with a launch day listening party! Yes that’s right- I’m going to host Genesis of the Cybermen because I did pre-ordered it and very excited about the release!
Sorry to disappoint everyone but I have to cancel this event because I was told by a moderator that I shouldn’t stream the BF stories on Discord. It is what it is or as they say you can’t have the cake and eat it.
You could consider creating a synchronization mechanism to allow people to watch/listen to their copies of the story independently, and still hold the discussion. I’m not sure that you have to give up your idea if you don’t want to, it just might take some additional creativity.
Yep I suggested this as an alternative so not sure why it’s been cancelled! As I said you’re more than welcome to organise the TV watchalongs as normal and set something like this up for the BF ones!
Alright then- I am OFFICIALLY uncancelling the event before the CEO of Big Finish Maffia sends Mr Briggs to my home and drinks all my tea.
The event will have empty days because there are 12 stories that are not free. Should I still post them here for each day encouraging people to buy the stories and listen to them?
Oh my lord The Quintessence was something else. It was an absolute banger of a story. I probably will appreciate it even more once I listen to it properly following the timeline. But still what a story!
Day 05
Genesis of the Cybermen is coming out today so encouraging everyone to listen to it! It’s gonna be hell of a story and I feel it!
The Quintessence is so good, honestly Mooney & Pringle are up there rn for me as some of my fave BF writers. Their Torchwood stuff always delivers, and this story ticked all the boxes.
Good morning Earth! The next few days I will be a bit biased towards the Fifth Doctor because I really really like them but finally we can continue our journey through time and space! We will be watching Earhshock today at 8PM GMT time! Be sure to check in!
