I can easily listen to one a day, but if I have a few days off in a row, inevitably one of those will be spent listening to multiple. I find it easier if they are 1-hour, then the changing narrative makes it easier to bash through 10.
I couldn’t do it every day, but if you can, then good for you.
If I was back to having a non-remote job, there’s a fair chance that I would start listening to audios more, as I used to have time to fill with transit time that I don’t as much any more…
Likewise. It’s the same reason why it’s difficult for me to watch TV shows or movies, because I don’t like idle activity. But unlike watching TV, once I do begin an audio, there’s a decent chance I’ll get in the mood to listen to a series of them depending on length.
I do have a fair amount of trouble dividing my attention. Whatever I’m paying attention to tends to have my full attention. Multitasking is not something that normally happens…
I’m trying to listen to as much of my backlog as I can before I can work again, managed to catch up on all my main series, and recently started branching out to other ranges. I really did lose touch with many of my fave ranges over the years until I became unemployed, there’s just so much that I had to prioritise my fave faves like Torchwood and the 8DA’s. I’m dreading getting the go ahead to work again as idk how I’ll fit all the BF into my life
I’ve worked out that if I listen to more than an hour of Big Finish a day, I enjoy listening less and less. Maybe a 2-hour Main Range story if I’m feeling it, but other than that no can do. If I have to a lot of cooking or manual tasks in a day I’ll break it up by listening to other audio drama, music or podcasts!
But everyone listens to Big Finish differently. Whatever works for you! If you’re worried you’ll burn out, stop, but otherwise have all the fun you want
Others have already answered the Question greatly, so I am not sure what I can add to it. Personally, for me, it does vary. Sometimes I do quite a few, sometimes I don’t.
I don’t think I could listen to that many Audios on one Day (usually), let alone every day. But everybody works differently and as long as you know your Limits/don’t ignore your Responsibilities, all must be fine! I do say slow down at times, I think doing that can make you feel a burn-out and therefore make some Story stick much less than they normally would have!
