He’s absolutely a companion! If we’re counting Wilf and Joy then why can’t we count him. The whole point of the trilogy is that he becomes a companion!!

I added Joy as a companion before I saw the episode, to be fair I thought she’d at least travel in the TARDIS.
I’ll remove her companion status.
But Wilf is a companion I’ll die on that hill
