A new story type has been added to TARDIS Guide: Competition Winner.
Quite a few stories across the Whoniverse have been the result of a competition either for a monster design or for a entire story. So far we’ve got the following list. Anything we’ve missed?

The name, design and background notes for the Vortexians came from Paul Fisher, the winning designer in Doctor Who Magazine’s Design a Monster competition. The winner was announced in Doctor Who Magazine 224.
In a competition connected with the series, a contest winner was given a chance to play a villain in a specially written Doctor Who scene featuring Jack Harkness and a surprise guest which was broadcast during the 23rd May 2009 episode of Tonight’s the Night.
That audio was written by a guy who won a competition for a script back in the early days of BF. I don’t quite remember the circumstances for that competition
The Krakanord, designed by Hugh Brown, was the winning entry of the #DoctorWhoLockdown Design-a-Monster competition. The competition was judged by Will Grantham (aka @ChannelPup), who won the Blue Peter Design-a-Monster competition with his Abzorbaloff in 2006.
Problem is, this competition wasn’t official or affiliated with the BBC, so it may be a grey area?
Seeing this Story isn’t included in the List, I do think the Doctor’s Wife would fall under this Category:
The Junk TARDIS console was the subject of a 2009 design competition on Blue Peter . The winning design was by then-12-year-old Susannah Leah, whose subsequent visits to the BBC Art Department and location filming for this story were featured in the 10 May2011 episode of Blue Peter.
