I’ve only gone through a few but I definitely like the one on Greatest Show[1] and the Earthshock one is great too with all four main actors being super fun and chaotic.

Kind of Doctor Who-related because Peter Capaldi is on the track but I’ve been listening to the commentaries for The Thick of It recently.
Got done with the Rise of the Nutters episode today, and it’s hilarious as Capaldi gets slowly convinced over the course of the episode by the producer Armando Ianucci that no one listens to DVD commentaries so they can talk about any old shite they want!
Some lovely Capaldi tangents about how he’s fed up talking about Alex MacQueen, he met John Major during the shooting of the episode and that he only has two expressions, neutral and penny drops, and he makes sure we see EVERY penny drops face he makes over the course!
At the end, they’re all talking about how the audience were scared that Malcolm (Capaldi) was going to get sacked and never appear again, to which Chris Addison reassures him saying he’ll just regenerate into David Tennant and they’ll have a The Two Malcolms special! Recorded in 2007 btw, very spooky!

Gimme, Gimme, Gimme’s lyrics aren’t quite how I remember them.
I think the one for Arc of Infinity remains the best that was ever had on the DVDs. Colin’s on it, of course, so the bantering with Peter’s great. And then Janet Fielding comes into it. Sarah Sutton’s left onlooker to basically utter silliness.

I’ve just watched the first two episodes of Spearhead from Space with the original commentary from Nicholas Courtney and Caroline John - one of the very earliest commentaries ever released for Doctor Who and long before they introduced any form of moderator, but the two of them really hold their own well (all terribly British and BBC of course). Quite remarkably, Kate Stewart even gets an indirect mention!

The only commentaries I’ve done are the in-vision RTD2 ones, which were… okay.
I do have a lot of Who DVDs, so I will probably try out some of the commentaries on those at some point.

Had a notion to watch The Silurians with the commentary track on, after having spent the last two weeks going through the story itself. First time I must have stuck on a commentary track in over a decade and it was very refreshing, as I’ve been a little frustrated after noticing that the Behind the Sofa episodes are cut down edits. Very good to hear thoughts and anecdotes across the whole story without missing any bit that you particularly like.
A highlight here from the Episode Three cliffhanger:
Terrance Dicks: “Here he is, look! Full frontal Silurian! At the end of episode, where are we, three! But you see after that, we’re knee-deep in the buggers for the rest of the show aren’t we!”
Caroline John: “I don’t think you can say that Terry!”

Really enjoyed the commentary for episode 2 of The Web of Fear from Who Talk - Deborah Watling and Ralph Watson. Some lovely moments and insight into their personal lives as well as enthusing about what’s on screen in front of them. Episode 1 had Roger Bunce and Watson. Bunce is always an enthusiastic commentator and adds a nice element of thoughts from the other side of the camera.

Debbie talked about her family and Ralph used to be a Methodist lay preacher from the age of 16 till partway through university.
He also revealed that Jack Woolgar (Sergeant Arnold) had a long-running dispute with Derek Nimmo (of all people) and would fly into a rage if his name ever got mentioned. Something to do with finances from a theatre company they were involved in and they both blamed the other!

Currently listening to the evil of the daleks 2 with Deborah watling and Gary Russell (I think it’s him)
Debbie’s like “oh it really felt like a family there and I was itching to go back” which was very sweet.
Then she says that Pat invited her to tea with his wife a few times and both Debbie and Gary joked about “which wife?” Which made me giggle

The aforementioned Who Talk has lots to choose from.
But apart from that, no, they are exclusive to the DVDs/Blurays.

The Sixth Doctor era commentaries, which do you find to be the most informative? (I have heard none of them).
If the “Behind the Sofas” are considered commentaries, I don’t care for them in the slightest. The two I’ve seen weren’t entertaining and honestly annoyed me.

Scrap that. I was thinking about the episodes where they put the info text at the bottom; I find those to be of more interest to me than the commentaries.
