I thought that all three of these stories were kind of nice. Nothing amazing, but nice. They had some fun moments, and I feel like the Sapling makes a good addition to the team. The best that the Eleventh Doctor’s comics have been in a while. The art was not great…

Time of the Ood is a bit of a Sapling-lite story and it brings back the Ood for a fairly forgettable adventure.
6/10
Time of the Ood is a serviceable but unremarkable entry in The Sapling arc. It’s a quick, contained adventure that revisits the Ood and briefly separates Alice and the Doctor from their new companion. While the story moves along at a brisk pace, it doesn’t offer much that’s new, either thematically or narratively. A decent but forgettable issue.

Memory Feast is fun! A traditional adventure inside a deserted spaceship, revealing all kinds of secrets and surprises. It’s nothing groundbreaking, but I enjoyed the art and the ideas.
7/10
Memory Feast is an aesthetically striking entry in The Sapling arc, filled with grand sci-fi concepts and an immersive setting. However, its weak tension and rushed resolution stop it from reaching its full potential. It’s an enjoyable mystery, but one that doesn’t quite deliver the payoff it promises.

Finally, we have Fooled, another fun entry set at a medieval fun fair. It’s all fine and dandy until we bump into a memory thief. Another strong outing for Sapling and the art style.
7/10
Fooled may be a short adventure, but it’s an enjoyable and visually appealing one. It provides an important lesson for Sapling, while keeping the tone light and engaging. The alien jester’s motivations add a nice twist, making this a fun, if simple, detour in the Sapling saga.
