Collectors of the site! What's your rarest physical media you own?

Just wanted you to know that I have the Region 1 The Doctors Revisited 5-8 DVD. (Although I do confess the main reason I bought it is that it is the easiest way to get a Region 1 copy of the TV movie) I don’t think it’s that rare, though. Next time I watch it, I’ll try to appreciate your work on the documentaries! :slightly_smiling_face:

The rarest thing that I have is probably my Star Trek/Doctor Who IDW Volume 1. I’m still trying to get the magical confluence of price and funds that will enable me to get Volume 2, and own the complete story. Since IDW lost the Doctor Who license a year after the omnibus was printed, they seem somewhat rare, although they are not astronomically expensive. (Still, $20-25 per half is expensive for me comparatively…)

More bitter about the actual friend who borrowed my Lord of the Rings CDs, for which I had paid actual money, lost them, and didn’t seem at all apologetic. Grrr…

Honestly, fair. It makes me wonder how many screening copies are still out there, and what state they’re in given they were VHS

I think the “rarest” physical media that I own is most likely an EDA/VNA, I have plenty of the Books, some of which I usually find for higher prices as well, that I somehow got for some very decent ones.
(Speaking of which, while I understand it’s probably not able to classify it as “rare” but I recently found Blood Harvest for a pretty good Price, when it’s typically around the 80-90s Bucks Area. So very excited when it hopefully soon will arrive!)

Other than that, perhaps some earlier BF Monthlies?
Love seeing the Replies here!!

Awesome Monthlies you two got! I am not sure what my earliest would be, probably Invaders of Mars? I usually buy them when I find them for a good price, and those early monthly ones are PRICEY :sob:

(To this day I regret not buying Scherzo for less than 30 bucks :sob: Still not cheap but hey at least better than the usual 60-80 bucks)
At least I do have Zagreus and more importantly The Wormery in my Collection

I have a collection of quite a lot of early Main Range CDs and EDAs, and a few other older books (VNAs, VMAs and old target novelisations), of which my rarest is now, as of yesterday, Lungbarrow. One of my more interesting ‘rare items’ is my CD of the chimes of midnight, which for some reason was only about £2 on ebay. There is also a mistake on the back cover of it: before the blurb it says ‘Halloween, 1938’, which is the setting of Invaders from Mars instead. Idk whether that is significant or not!
