Chuckle Brothers Doctor Who live show?

Does anyone know anything more about The Chuckle Brothers live stage show ‘Doctor What and the Return of the Garlics’ (2006)? Because it seems there is nothing but a poster that remains which is rather upsetting.

For anyone who hasn’t a clue who The Chuckle Brothers are they were a double act relatively famous in the uk for their tv show ‘ChuckleVision’. They did a plethora of stage shows parodying various pop culture.

But anyway the whole point of this thread is to

  1. See if anyone knows anything about this seemingly lost media
  2. And secondly just to talk about The Chuckle Brothers because they really did make my childhood with their ridiculously over the top slapstick comedy

(Fun fact Russell T Davies actually wrote some episodes of ‘ChuckleVision’ before writing Doctor Who)

I’ve not heard anything about the Doctor What stage show. It’d be interesting, as I love the Chuckles.

For my mate’s 31st birthday that year, we all trooped off to see this at Richmond - 5 or 6 grown adults all in their later twenties, early thirties.

It was fun but I don’t really remember any details… We were the oldest people in the audience without kids in tow.

My mate got his poster signed afterwards by the brothers.

To me, to you… Chuckle Brothers is something I reference relatively often in the US and get completely blank stares about lmao staple of my childhood though

Sadly in this day and age the UK is the same I always come out with phrases from them and people don’t bat an eyelid it’s sad really :((

It’s occured to me that I may well have the programme for this show in a box in the garage - I always get a programme or souvenir brochure for every show I see at the theatre and I can’t see why this would have been an exception - I’ll try and find some time to go and have a hunt.
