Strange alien artifacts begin appearing inside UNIT’s Black Archive. Each object is unmistakably linked to a different regeneration of the Doctor, but they’ve been tampered with. A corrupted energy signature of unknown origin pulses through them, and their sudden arrival has torn tiny ruptures across time and space.

To solve the mystery, UNIT calls upon a little-known incarnation of the Time Lord: the Fugitive Doctor. But how does UNIT know about her? And is she the Doctor they expect?

The Doctor, Osgood and Andrew are joined by Kate Lethbridge Stewart. A final mysterious object is manifesting, this one at the pinnacle of UNIT Tower itself.

A Time Bomb! Which threatens a dark future for all of the Doctor’s incarnations.

Only this Doctor can save herself - and her other selves - from this intricately woven scheme.

Wherever the Doctor has gone, and whatever challenges have lain ahead of her, she has always made new friends and enemies along the way. And as the final pieces of a complex scheme fall into place, this has never been truer.

But all of those friends and enemies have stories have their own…

1. Battleships by Alex Hewitt
Meet the Conductor. It’s rare for a Sontaran to be unique, but this Sontaran is certainly that. Regarded as an aberration by the short-lived scientists who oversaw his clone batch, this cadaverous specimen is also a peerless tactical genius. But life is hard for a Sontaran who stands out from his fellows, and this formidable mastermind must outwit certain rivals of his own kind before setting his sights on the true enemy of the Sontaran empire.

2. Get Rich or Die Trying by Alex Hewitt, from a story by Natasha Siegel

UPDATE:

Updated the list with the newly revealed Thirteenth Doctor Adventure. Also, it is now on the site too.

A Dalek encounter for the Thirteenth Doctor!

New Releases•Doctor Who: The Thirteenth Doctor Adventures

The Doctor has a new enemy – the Aegis Protectorate, an interstellar arms manufacturer that’s been causing trouble across her recent adventures. In the next episode of The Thirteenth Doctor Adventures, she sets out to confront Aegis, but finds her new enemy in collusion with an old one.

The full-cast audio episode Armageddon Dawn features the first audio encounter between the Thirteenth Doctor (Jodie Whittaker), her companion Yasmin Khan (Mandip Gill), and the Daleks (Nicholas Briggs).

This action-packed episode also features the return of Aegis boss Athena Nikos (Juliet Aubrey) and the mysterious Tourist (Maddison Bulleyment), and introduces the obnoxious tech entrepreneur Esskapell (Amit Shah).

The Dalek Negotiator seems oddly restrained, but with it vying against Esskapell for control of Aegis, and the Doctor and Yaz stuck in the middle, how long can it be until someone gets exterminated?

Doctor Who – The Thirteenth Doctor Adventures:Armageddon Dawn, written by Matt Fitton, is now available to pre-order for just £9.99 (as a digital download to own) or £13.99 (download to own + collector’s edition CD), exclusively fromwww.bigfinish.com.Please note: the collector’s edition CD is strictly limited to 1,500 copies and will not be re-pressed.

The Doctor decides it’s time to deal with Aegis. Taking Yaz to confront the company at the height of its powers, she finds Athena Nikos entertaining some unexpected clients.

Tech genius Esskapell wants control of Aegis for his own reasons – but, more worryingly, so does the ‘Dalek Negotiator’…

Writer Matt Fitton said: “As script editor on this run of adventures (and as a Northerner!), I couldn’t wait to write for the Thirteenth Doctor and Yaz, so leapt at the chance for the pivotal episode Armageddon Dawn.

“While we’ve seen this Doctor face Daleks on Earth on TV, I wanted to raise the stakes even higher here. So as the Dalek Empire tries to get its suckers on Aegis, what I really wanted to do was lock her in a room with her greatest enemy and see what they really think of one another!

“I also get to bring in elements of the series arc and play with Noga’s inspired creation, the chaotic Tourist, brought to life by Maddison Bulleyment. And there’s a return for Juliet Aubrey as arms dealer Athena Nikos – although she’s in a different place from when we last met her. With all this and an ambitious tech bro too, the Doctor and Yaz will be put through the wringer…”

Armageddon Dawn is the ninth of twelve full-cast audio drama adventures for the Thirteenth Doctor and Yaz, released bimonthly. Big Finish listeners can save money by pre-ordering all twelve releases in a multibuy bundle for just £102 (digital download to own), exclusively from the Big Finish website.

Additional three-release multibuy bundles are available from £27 (download to own) and £33 (download to own + collector’s edition CD).

All the above prices (including pre-order and multibuy bundle discounts) are fixed for a limited time only and guaranteed no later than 30 November 2026.

ADDED:

I have added the newly announced Fugitive Doctor box set to both the list and the site.

Helen Lederer joins The Fugitive Doctor

Doctor Who News•Doctor Who: The Fugitive Doctor

The Fugitive Doctor (Jo Martin) is still on the run from her former employers, the sinister Time Lord agency known as Division, but in her next three adventures – forming the upcoming audio drama box set Running Wild – she’s ready to take control and seek answers to her questions.

From a floating temple in a space to an archive of the universe, the Doctor is on a mission which will reveal shocking secrets about her time with Division. Along the way, she encounters her old enemies the Daleks (Nicholas Briggs), and her Time Lord pursuer is still causing trouble – though with a new face!

Helen Lederer – the comedian and actress known for TV series including Absolutely Fabulous and The Young Ones – plays the recently regenerated Cosmogon across all three episodes. Cosmogon is hunting the Doctor for Gallifrey’s High Council, but both Time Lords find themselves in many other strange and dangerous encounters across time and space…

Lederer said: “Doctor Who is part of my childhood, probably most people’s childhood. I realise now what an institution it is. And now I’m part of the family! I was thrilled to get the scripts. There’s a kind of twisty humour embedded in it, but it is otherworldly too.

“Cosmogon is a very interesting character, divided in her motives because she has to do the right thing. She has to veer who is she fighting for and against, but always with a slight exasperated humour.”

Doctor Who – The Fugitive Doctor: Running Wild is now available to pre-order for just £19.99 (download to own) or £29.99 (download to own + collector’s edition CD box set), exclusively from www.bigfinish.com. Please note: the collector’s edition CD box set is strictly limited to 1,000 copies and will not be re-pressed.

The three new adventures for the Fugitive Doctor are:

Tholos by Alex Hewitt

To uncover the secrets hidden within her mind, the Doctor voyages to the Temple of Lucidity – a great tholos floating through space – where a multicoloured tiger will teach her the secrets of the mystical dream-language of Oneira.

But are the Arkiris Tiger’s motives pure? How has the Doctor’s dogged pursuer, Cosmogon, managed to follow her here? And why does Cosmo have a new face?

Scripture by Katharine Armitage

In the Scripture System, temporally unbound scribes chronicle the history of the universe: everything that has been, everything that is, and everything that will be. They’re the people with the answers and the Doctor has some very big questions for them. But so do the Daleks…

… and if the metal-plated conquerors from Skaro are ever going to dominate the universe, they’re going to have to do something about someone whose name begins with ‘D’.

Genesis of the Doctor by Rochana Patel

All stories have a beginning, but some are shrouded in myth and legend, and lost to the mists of time…

What you need is a living witness. And a mind probe.

And the Doctor will soon have both…

This time, one way or another, she will have her answers – but is she ready for them?

Script editor Robert Valentine said: “This new phase of the Fugitive Doctor’s adventures sees her taking a more aggressive course in her flight from Division. She may still be on the run, but she’s determined to find the mysterious ‘Man in the Grey Suit’, who may know the secrets of her predicament.

“I’m delighted to have the wonderful Helen Lederer join the series as Cosmogon’s second incarnation. The dogged Time Lord detective has been forcibly regenerated by Division in the hope she’ll play by their rules in their hunt for the Doctor, but this new Cosmo won’t bend so easily. Helen’s Cosmogon is funny, wild and in many ways more like the Doctor than the Doctor is, and I can’t wait for people to hear them together.”

Doctor Who – The Fugitive Doctor: Running Wild is now available to pre-order for just £19.99 (download to own) or £29.99 (download to own + collector’s edition CD box set), exclusively from www.bigfinish.com.

ADDED:

Added the newly announced Ninth Doctor Adventures Special, The Wash.

Christopher Eccleston and Carole Ann Ford star together for the first time in The Ninth Doctor Adventures: The Wash, a special full-cast audio drama streaming free on the official Doctor Who YouTube channel this Christmas.

Written by Robert Valentine, The Wash reunites two generations of the Doctor’s family – the Ninth Doctor himself and his granddaughter Susan – in a story that begins, improbably, in a launderette on the Powell Estate. Avoiding Jackie Tyler’s early Christmas preparations, the Doctor heads to The Wash Inn; there, alongside unexpected dangers, he finds himself in conversation with a voice from the past.

The Wash will stream live on the official Doctor Who YouTube channel on Tuesday 22 December giving fans the chance to listen along together. It will remain free to stream for one month afterwards – part of a selection box of Doctor Who treats from Big Finish arriving over the Christmas period, with further announcements to come.

When Rose and Jackie start early Christmas prep, the Doctor opts to do the laundry. The Wash Inn is a hub and haven for lonely souls, and who is more lonely than the last of the Time Lords?

But why has the memory of his granddaughter, Susan, begun to trouble him? What terrible force lurks in an innocent washing machine? And is there enough Brite White in the world to deal with it? It will all come out in The Wash.

Big Finish listeners will also have the chance to purchase this special adventure as a digital download to own (for £16.99) and as a collector’s edition CD, which will come packaged with a collectible Christmas card (for £19.99), now available to pre-order exclusively from www.bigfinish.com.

Please note: the collector’s edition CD and Christmas card are strictly limited to 3,000 copies each and will not be re-pressed. Note: deliveries of the CD and card will not arrive in time for Christmas but the download, including extra behind-the-scenes content, will be made available to own via the Big Finish website on Wednesday 23 December 2026.

Christopher Eccleston said: “This was a brilliant, really outstanding script, I thought. I love that notion that as we go through our lives, particularly if you’re a Time Lord, everybody you meet remains with you.

“And working with Carole was really exciting. I’d been looking forward to it. I think that An Unearthly Child is the greatest episode ever made – when I made the TV series, that was the one I watched as inspiration. And she’s a pro, she was absolutely brilliant – a real honour.”

Carole Ann Ford added: “Acting opposite Chris was wonderful, marvellous. It’s such a strong story. Susan pushes this Doctor to try and sort himself out and not be so touchy with people. I think listeners will be cheering Susan on!”

Doctor Who – The Ninth Doctor Adventures: The Wash is now available to pre-order for just £16.99 (download to own) or £19.99 (download to own + collector’s edition CD + Christmas card), exclusively from www.bigfinish.com.

Please note that Big Finish is currently operating a digital-first release schedule. The mail-out of collector’s edition CDs may be delayed due to factors beyond our control, but all purchases of this release unlock a digital copy that can be immediately downloaded or played on the Big Finish app from the release date.

When Jackie was a little girl, her mum used to tell her that if she didn’t behave, she’d leave Jackie out for the Rag Man, and he’d take her away with all the other rubbish. A silly story.

Except now the Rag Man has come back again, his filthy cart resting in the middle of the Powell Estate, a cloud of flies buzzing in his wake. And he’s coming to take everything Rose and Jackie have ever loved.
