Big Finish Live - Wishlist

After the success of The Stuff of Legend what stories would be on your wishlist to be performed live?

I’d love to see The Chimes of Midnight, in a sight specfic venue, an old house or church, spooky lighting. Perfect for Christmas.

Preferably new stuff just like Stuff of Legend. But that’s the boring answer!

So give me The Two Masters so we can have MacQueen play off of Beavers and vice versa. MacQueen was amazing live!

I would kill to see Scherzo live. I would commit autocannibalism to see Scherzo live, too. Gotta stay on theme. (/j)

I’d probably want new stuff as well

Any chance of a live Torchwood Audio for the 20th anniversary in 2 years?
Please??

The only true and correct answers are The One Doctor and Bang-Bang-a-Boom!

Gallifrey: Square One, or Disassembled, or anything from s4, or anything from Gallifrey at all actually I think it would be brilliant and I would cry the whole time and it would be brilliant

I’m gonna be predictable and saying anything with River Song, so I can see Alex Kingston live! :star_struck:

Pursuit of the Nightjar, would be awesome to see my Doctor on stage with Tegan & Nyssa

We have been unfortunately robbed of the potential of seeing The Jago & Litefoot Revival performed live, but that would be so good in like, an old style prosc-arch theatre, it would basically be exactly the same as the audio. Could even rope Tennant in for the Ten cameo.

Oh wow, I would have loved to have heard some Jago & Litefoot. The duo regaling us with their adventures, in a two hander with asides to the audience & Litefoot visibly uncomfortable with stagecraft. Jago having set up a few stage tricks to add drama that sometimes go wrong. Damn the more I think about it the better it seems. Maybe with a music hall act as support to create atmosphere.

They could have done it in Wilton’s Music Hall, a lovely venue.

Bang-Bang-a-Boom! the weekend before Eurovision week would go down a treat. And/or as a double-header with Doctor Who and the Pirates, though they’d have to either recast Evelyn or replace her with another companion. (Mel seems an obvious choice…)

A Christmas double-bill of The Chimes of Midnight and Relative Dimensions would also go over well, surely.

Oh I’d adore both of your ideas! Or would have adored in the case of the latter.

I would say The Death of Captain Jack, but I somehow doubt twenty minutes of John Barrowman and James Marsters having sex on stage would appeal to mainstream Doctor Who audiences. Then again, maybe I’m wrong.

Oh no no, go one step further: Peach Blossom Heights

See, the thing is, Peach Blossom Heights i less explicit. Sure, they have an orgy, but most of it happens off-screen. In DoCJ it’s all right there and in your face.

(Also, I might want DoCJ a bit more, if only to see Ianto in that getup )

Huh, yeah no actually you’re right, my bad

Also with Death of Captain Jack we get Garth David-Lloyd in a gimp mask, so there’s that

Suddenly a boxset has jumped up my to-do list :eyes:

Having not really listened to that many Big Finish audios, I do think it’d be neat to see The Fearmonger live…
