Mm okay. I’ve already read the Sixth Doctor title (and Human Nature) so that gets a giant shrug from me. Hopefully they’ll adapt more soon.
Agreed! I am not quite sure with the BBC (PDA/EDAs) Books, but it seems like the Virgin Books are more than fair game, would be great if they did an audiobook Version for the two Grant Books already
Sadly, I don’t think we’re ever getting audiobooks of the VNAs and PDAs.
They have never been reprinted or released as (official) e-books (with a couple of exceptions). The BBC these days likes to pretend that the VNAs don’t exist. It’s probably because they are trying to maintain the image of Doctor Who as a family show, and the Wilderness Years novels don’t exactly fit that mould.
That being said, there are fan-made audiobook versions of some of the VNAs out there.
I’ll do them! Just give me a minimum of 3 accents to choose from.
We could do a TARDIS Guide audio drama retelling of a VNA, each person gets assigned a part and reads their lines
The TARDIS Guide Stuff of Legend event lol
Cockney, Scottish, Australian, Northern
Just don’t give me the parts where the Doctor speaks. My McCoy is terrible
I can play all the Swedes in that 8DA that was set here.
Call me if we need somebody to do Hartnell, it’s by far not the best, but I am trying!
(on another Note: That idea does sound lovely, I must say!)
If you need a mildly nasally American voice, you know where to find me!
Why not, do you mind Ace being South African now?
And I can play all the Turnips.
I volunteer to do animal noises of all kinds!
I can do all the Scottish parts but I won’t use my native accent I’ll put on a bad fake Scots one
I’ll voice 7, but I’ll do it as a bad impression of Broden Kelly from Aunty Donna
Like Ten trying to sound like Scot in Tooth & Claw? So Tennant trying to put on a fake Scottish accent.
Yeah but even worse somehow
